So, it was my 31st birthday a few days ago. I had some grandiose plans for getting some awesome bee tattoos, but as fate would have it, I broke a fucking chunk of tooth out of my head, and now I have to pay for that instead.

The morning of my birthday, I went to the dentist's to get a cap on my busted tooth, and by happy coincidence, I noticed that his office was right across the street from Bohemian National Cemetery. Oooooh!

For those of you not in the know, Boho Nat has got some of the best funeral art strewn about (here is a nice link for those of you who like history [link]) and while I only covered not even a quarter of the grounds, (it's freakin huge) I still think it was time well spent. Even if it WAS morbid.

The rest of my birthday was spent wandering aimlessly about Chicago, drinking coffee and chatting up trannies about shoes (I love Chicago, you meet the best people here) and then a couple of friends (and Victor) took me out for sushi. A day well spent, I think.
